Underwear

One question I always get DM'ed about on Instagram is, "What kind of underwear do you wear?" Well to be honest it truly depends on my mood and the time of month! I do only wear Pink underwear though, so if you don't like Pink by Victoria Secret then you might want to pass over this post. One style I have come to find that is never and I mean never my friend when if comes to leggings is Cheekster panties. Maybe it's just me and the fact I have a big butt, but they make this weird line down the line of my butt cheek that just looks awful, so if you are like me and have a big back end avoid Cheeksters while wearing leggings. I wear three different types of panties with my leggings: Hipsters, thongs, and shorties. Personally my favorite are the hipsters. You just can't go wrong with them. They are comfortable cute don't show a line plus is Aunt Flo decides to show up you are set and don't have to pull out the dreaded period panties because these work just fine for that. The shorties are basically the same, but give you more coverage and the thong is great for those who are super worried about lines getting bunched during a hard workout. I tend to buy a size up in all of my panties just to make sure they aren't too tight and causing weird lines on my butt that show up while in leggings. I know a lot of people go for the no show undies, but I have tried multiple brands and I don't care what they claim most have had horrible lines. These three panties are the only ones I have found that don't have crazy lines and are extremely cute and comfortable. The best part about Pink by VS beside the price is when I have guys write me to ask what the best underwear to wear is I can recommend the three I wear and they tend to usually work for men as well. I had one guy tell me he went out and bought the ones I recommended and absolutely loved the Hipsters and could wear them in the locker room without getting weird looks because they don't look to feminine from far away.  Of course what I wear won't work for everyone, but if you are looking for the perfect undies for leggings I would give these three styles a try!

A Tale as Old as Time

Growing up one of my all time favorite Disney movies was Beauty and the Beast. Still is to be honest, so when I found Beauty and the Beast leggings I had to have them. Not only are these leggings super cute, they are great quality and NOT see through. One of the biggest problems I found with leggings from Hot Topic and Kohls was that they were super see through on my butt. No one wants to accidentally show all their goodies while working out or shopping. I personally bought my leggings off Aliexpress because they are the same exact brand as Lotus Leggings and way cheaper. Some of the leggings I ordered off of there even came with Lotus Leggings tags, so don't feel like you are getting better quality by paying more when they are the same exact brand. Now, lets talk about sizing. I am 5'2 and 105 lbs, but I do have a 36 1/2 in butt, so if you are small and have muscular thighs and butt you will be fine buying your normal size like I do. I buy a size small and it fits just fine for me. I know someone who likes to buy a size up just to make sure they don't fit too snug. The only problem I ever run into with leggings is them being slightly to long, but when you are 5'2 it's bound to happen. If they are ever just too long I fold them up and they look just fine and aren't all bunched up at my ankles. If you have any question please feel free to ask me! Happy shopping

I Suck at This

So apparently I suck at this whole blogging thing. I can never remember to  get a post up and end up going days without anything. Great way to start off a blog right? lol Anyways if anyone does read anything I post, I promise I will be posting more now that the stomach flu has left my house. I have some awesome leggings that I can't wait for you all to see and be able to purchase as well. All of the leggings that I post have been bought and paid for by me or my husband of course. I have not received any discount or freebies to talk up any companies or brands that I post. If I ever do I will post a disclaimer to let everyone know I was given a perk to write up that review. Wonder Woman and Superman

I get stopped often to ask where I buy my leggings from and honestly it really depends on the brand and style. I started out shopping on Onlineleggingsstore.com and Lotusleggings.com. I was spending at least $75 each time and would get about 4 or 5 pairs of leggings. I truly thought that was amazing until one day I decided to look on Aliexpress. I found the same exact leggings on there for about $6 a pair. Of course certain styles are higher in price, but for the most part I haven't spent over $10 for a single pair of leggings on there. One of the pairs I get asked about all the time are my Wonder Woman/ Superman leggings. The shipping from Aliexpress of course takes longer than Onlineleggingstore, but the price makes up for it. The best part is most of my leggings actually came with Lotuslegging tags, so needless to say they are the EXACT same brand. These leggings don't have the same quality as Reebok or Adidas, but for $6 they aren't bad. I do lift in them at the gym and haven't had any issues with them splitting. I wash them on delicate and hang dry. Over time the seam of the crotch does start to come loose, but again for $6 I don't mind hand sewing them up. I bought a size small in this pair and they fit great for me. I am 5'2 and 104lbs, so keep that in mind when buying. I know some people who like to buy a size up just to make sure they don't split while at the gym. Also the best part is they are not see through. That was a huge issue I came across while buying leggings from Hot Topics and Kohls, they were all see through. All in all if you are looking for a cute pair of Wonder Woman/Superman leggings that won't break the bank, these are the leggings for you.

Piba Wonder Woman

With the release of Batman versus Superman came a revived love for DC superheroes, since Marvel has been killing it lately. With Batman and Superman comes Wonder Woman and who doesn't love a muscular Amazonian woman who kicks ass? I have always loved Wonder Woman because every girl needs a badass woman to look up to. Of course with my love of superheroes and leggings I was so happy when my husband called me into the living room to check out a pair of leggings that he saw on Instagram. As soon as he turned the phone around it was love at first sight. I had to own them because I had been searching for some Wonder Woman leggings FOREVER! I'm cheap, so the price tag was kind of a turn off especially for a brand I had never heard of, but they were WW and exactly what I was looking for. I bit the bullet and pre-ordered these awesome leggings and sat patiently (ha. NOT) for them to arrive. I live in the USA and they were coming from Australia, so add that to the wait time I was going insane, but it really wasn't that long of a wait tbh. Being that they are my first pair of Piba leggings I had to try them on to see how they fit and the quality the second they arrived (don't worry I washed them before I wore them to the gym), which I must say is great. I ordered an x-small and was very pleased with the way they fit. I am 5'2, 104 lbs and have a big butt, so shopping for clothing without trying it on is difficult to say the least. They were about an inch or two too long, but nothing that takes away from the look. The quality was great. They are made of 88% polyester and 12% spandex and are thick enough that you don't feel like the seam will blow the second you do a squat, but not thick to the point you get hot and uncomfortable in them while working out. For $50 I would say they are definitely will worth the money and the wait if you are shipping outside of Australia.

Welcome to the world of leggings

About a few months ago I started taking photos of my leggings and posting them on Instagram. After that I started receiving multiple emails about: quality, sizing and what kind of underwear to wear with them. I have taken the time to answer every DM I received, but after a while I figured if one person is asking then odds are multiple people are curious as well. So I have decided to start a blog to help people out with where I buy my leggings (will link the shops), what underwear work best and answer questions about quality and sizing.
